This Financial Model is the same as the above Coal-Fired Power Station Model BUT also has a second revenue stream from Steam Sales.

3. CCGT POWER STATION FINANCIAL MODEL

It also has similar Sheets as the above Financial Models the difference being that it uses a Gas Turbine and has a higher Plant Efficiency Factor compared to the other
two models. This Financial Model can be used for both a Closed Cycle Gas Turbine and a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine Power Station Financial Model.

Humor Website Launched

We recently decided to spice up our Project Finance Models website by adding some humor web pages. We actually still have the three humor pages on the website - "Why I Love Beer", "Very Logical Question!" and "Faulty Futurist".

We have now had a change of heart about the whole thing (NO! we are not abandoning the idea of spicing up our website with some humor).

We have decided to create a stand alone humor website to avoid search engine optimization problems with our main website - search engines don't mix Project Finance and Beer!

We foresaw a problem where Search Engines would be confused and look with suspicion at a Project Finance website that has also web pages on topics completely unrelated to project finance.

Generally, search engines penalize a website that has no focus by lowering its ranking (or even banning it completely from their indices).

Remember, although we are not in the business of humor (or beer), we are also not in the business of being boring/grumpy/stale either!

The stand alone website has four pages: "Why I Love Beer", "Very Logical Question!", "Faulty Futurist" and "Quotable Quote".

Math of Finance Page Added.

In our previous email to Members & General Subscribers we promised to upload a Math of Finance page on our website and link it to all the other web pages on the website.

We have just done that.

But let's explain what you will find on the Math of Finance page:

On that page you will find links that take you to Math of Finance related topics (e.g. Interest Rate Conversion Equations).

The links on the page are going to grow organically as we add more Math of Finance related topics on the website.

On the Interest Rate Equations page we have now also added a definition and examples of Basis Points as applied to interest rates.
